Segway Adventure Experience for Two People

The Segway Adventure is a 60 minute experience taking place on weekdays and weekends. This experience will allow you to get to grips with the controls of the machines and you will have plenty of time to immerse yourselves in some Segway Fun!

What happens on the day?

As you arrive at your chosen location you will need to follow the signposts directing you to the Segway Pod where you will register and complete the necessary paperwork. You will then be kitted up in the essential safety gear before being given a brief introduction to your Segway experience. Once you have built your confidence up and completed a few short games, you will be taken on a guided tour in the venue grounds where you will be shown any obstacles that you will need to avoid. You will then be set free to unleash the true speed of your Segway and practice your new found skills, all the while experiencing the excitement of a Segway Experience!

Important Information:

Restrictions – To Ride a Segway weight and height restrictions apply please ensure you meet these before booking your experience, these are strictly enforced on our events to meet the requirments of our insurance. 

Are there any height restrictions?
Riders will not be allowed to ride a segway if they are under 134cm tall.

Are there any weight restrictions?
Weight limits are set by the manufacturer Segway and in order to meet the requirements of our insurance, we have to strictly enforce these limits. Riders will not be allowed to ride a Segway if

Their weight exceeds 117kg (18.4 stone)
Their weight is under 45kg (7.08 stones)
Please note weighing scales are in operation on our events.

The Event Managers decision is final on this and NO refunds will be given if participants turn up on the day and do not meet these requirements.

Group Sizes - The maximum group size that we can accommodate in one session is 12.

Timeslots - When booking your experience online you will be asked to select whether you would prefer an AM or PM timeslot. AM timeslots occur between the hours of 9am and 1pm, and PM timeslots occur between the hours of 1pm and 8pm (depending on sunset times). We will do our best to accommodate any special requests made in terms of booking time, but these times cannot be guaranteed. 

Clothing & Footwear – This is an outdoor experience so please dress according to the weather. Skirts and dresses are not advised and all shoes must be flat and closed toe.

Weather – All Segway experiences are subject to weather conditions and adverse weather conditions can mean that an event has to be cancelled. In this instance we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible, and re-arrange your booking for an alternative, suitable date.
