Tempered glass lid
When cooking certain things, like rice, you don’t want to keep taking off the lid to check its progress, letting out all the heat, steam and flavour trapped inside. With a tempered glass lid so you can peer inside to check the progress of your cooking without removing the lid, it’s easy to keep an eye on your food and take complete control without releasing all the good stuff under the lid.

Non-slip feet
With silicone non-slip feet on the base, it’ll stay put throughout the cooking process, so there’s no chance it’ll slide around the worktop while it gets the job done.

Non-stick Thermolon Volt
Coated with Thermolon ceramic non-stick, an innovative non-stick, especially designed for frequent high heat cooking, it's free from PFAS and other chemical nasties too. The pan is infused with diamond crystals to offer literally rock hard protection to its surface, meaning it’s safe to use with metal utensils and won’t scratch. And it’s also been hard anodised for reinforcement to make the surface super strong and durable. The ceramic coating is silky smooth and extremely non-stick, meaning you don’t need to use as much oil or butter when cooking, and you won’t need to soak or scrub it afterwards to remove any burnt-on food stuck to the surface – that means healthier cooking and easier cleaning. And as if that wasn’t enough, the removable pan and glass lid are both dishwasher safe, which makes for an even easier clean-up.

What are PFAS?
PFAS stands for poly-and perfluoralkyl substances. It’s a collective name for around 6000 chemical substances. They’re used to
make everyday products water, dirt and oil repellent. PFAS are extremely strong, they’re almost indestructible. That’s why PFAS are called
‘forever chemicals’.

Why are PFAS Harmful?
When we ingest PFAS, it builds up in our blood and it takes a long time for our body to get rid of it. The impact is significant. If you have high concentrations of PFAS in your blood, you are more likely to suffer from serious health problems, such as a weakened immune system, increased cholesterol, cardiovascular diseases and other chronic diseases. So it’s better to avoid exposure as much as you can.
