Hahanaru 100% Koshihikari Rice is Japanese short grain sushi rice. Japanese Koshihikari rice is the premium jewel of Rice Varieties in Japan for everyday rice consumption and the true short grain variety that is highly sought by high end sushi bars. The individual grains retain their shape and bite, and is famous for its shimmering brightness. This short grain sushi rice is ideal for home and restaurant use.
How To Cook:
1. Use a measuring cup to measure rice accurately. 2. Wash and rinse the rice repeatedly with water until the water is clear. 3. Put both rice and water in a pot. Rice-water ratio is approximately 1:1.2. 4. Soak the rice in the water for more than 30 minutes (60 minutes in winter). Let it absorb enough water. 5. Follow the instruction of your rice cooker. 6. When cooking completed, stir and loosen rice before serving.
