X-Stitching

Instead of nylon threads being individually and vertically stitched, this technology makes use of one long nylon thread which is X-stitched, between the double PVC layers. From the top part to the bottom part. The result is a top-down stronger and safer board.

 Inflatables

The inflatable SUPS of the Jobe series are one of the lightest boards on the market. Jobe designs their own stand up paddle boards according to the latest construction methods and production techniques. The two PVC layers in the inside contain one of the most important innovations and the bottom and upper layer of the SUPs are extra strong due to the fact that they are pre-laminated. Thanks to that renewed method, it is not necessary to use glue to add the second layer of reinforced PVC on the first.

Heat Bonded Technology

Jobe engineers their SUP board range with a high density of nylon threads on the inside, fused to a solid PVC-coated base cloth by pre-laminated heat bonded technology. Jobe laminate the drop stitch inside to the second layers with controlled heat performance by a machine, removing all human errors and flaws. Jobe took a layer of drop stitch reinforcement to protect the base cloth and a second drop stitch reinforcement layer to strengthen the board to its max. On top of these layers, a PVC-coat nylon base is used to guarantee the Mira's durability. All layers are well connected due to thermos-assembled methods performed by high-tech machines under controlled conditions, saving almost 2kg in weight compared to a traditional double layer application method. All these processes together create the perfect blend between shape, looks, durability and weight. 

Halkey Roberts Valves

Halkey-roberts valves are air valves that are used worldwide in a lot of inflatable watersports products like boats, water toys and SUPs. They come in three parts. One inside part, one outside part and valve cap. When two parts are screwed up together, a seal is formed around the fabric. During inflation, valves must be locked. In order to lock the valve, push and twist so that they core of the valve pops outwards. During deflation, valves must be unlocked. Push and twist so that the core of the valve is pushed in.

EZ Lock Fin

The Jobe SUPs allow for you to install your fin in seconds. Easily secure the fin by clicking it in and pushing the lock down, eliminating the need to carry and use tools.
