The Yamaha RDS300 is the ‘top of the range’ choice of Recreational Dive Series (RDS) Seascooters, from the Impressive Yamaha Seascooter Line-up. This powerful, yet relatively lightweight seascooter offering, provides you with the opportunity to enjoy experiencing an underwater adventure at speeds of up to 3mph. The battery is sealed in a watertight compartment of the Seascooter, but easily accessible for removal and recharging. Batteries are fully interchangeable too, meaning you can purchase additional batteries and extended the duration of usage throughout the day if you wished to.  
 

Discover new underwater worlds to a depth of 100ft (30m) and create memories with friends or family as you power around the surface of the water or dive underwater and swoop around under the waves. The RDS300 utilises an adjustable buoyancy system but provides a ‘Positive Buoyancy’ in standard form, which means the Seascooter becomes virtually weightless in the water. Should a member of the family accidentally let go… It’ll merely stop and float back to the surface, making it safer for the whole family to enjoy, without the risk of losing your new Seascooter.  
 

Boasting less weight and cost than the more technical ‘Professional Dive Series’ of Seascooters, the RDS300 provides maximum levels of fun, at a price point which is more enjoyable for the whole family. The product is aimed at the 16+ age range, but could potentially be used by younger Seascooter users, if they are provided additional support and importantly increased adult supervision.

Minor Maintenance to preserve the condition of your New Seascooter

The Yamaha RDS300 is easy to maintain and should be washed down with fresh water after use in chlorine or saltwater. Periodic checks, making sure to keep the O-rings on the nose cone kept clean and lightly re-greased with silicone grease (included) will help you to get longevity from your new Seascooter.

Battery maintenance is key to making sure your Seascooter runs well for years to come. It is advisable to never leave the battery connected when the Seascooter is not in use, and the discharged battery should be recharged as soon as possible (ideally within 48hrs) after you’ve finished with your Seascooter too. Should the Seascooter not be used for an extended period or put into storage, the battery should be fully charged prior and revisited every 3-months approx. to top the battery level back up to full before returning the disconnected battery/seascooter back into storage. This will help you maintain the peak condition of your Yamaha RDS300 Seascooter.
