Head to the heart of the UK’s space sector for an unforgettable and exclusive Astronaut Experience for two at Space Store.

Led by the knowledgeable and friendly Space Store team, you’ll be guided throughout the experience with expertise and discover a whole host of space facts along the way. You’ll take part in a series of out-of-this-world activities.

Using state-of-the-art VR immerse yourself with a spacewalk, interact in 4D with augmented reality to uncover the wonders of the solar system, touch and learn about meteorites, suit up in a replica Tim Peake space suit and eat like an astronaut. At the end of the experience, you’ll be able to take home your personal framed photographs and certificate to commemorate your experience.

Participant guidelines

• This experience is great for any age
• Under 14s must be accompanied by a full paying adult
• Space Store is entirely on the ground floor, has disability access and toilets.

What happens on the day?
On arrival to the Space Store, you’ll be warmly welcomed by the friendly and knowledgeable team ready for your exclusive experience. Throughout your time, you’ll be guided by the Space Store Team regaling you with unique facts about space. You’ll take part in a series of challenges: VR, augmented reality, meteorites, replica Tim Peake space suit, eat like an astronaut. At the end of your unforgettable experience, you’ll take home your personal framed photographs and astronaut certificate to commemorate your time.

Availability
This experience is available to be booked seven days a week, however some excluded dates may apply.

What should I wear?
Wear something in which you’re comfortable getting in and out of a spacesuit!

What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
