A unique medal struck in the shape of a guitar pick by the Royal Mint for the Paul McCartney stamp issue. The front of the medal features a design taken from the psychedelic Wings Over Europe 1972 tour bus and Paul McCartney’s signature on the reverse. The richly illustrated fold out souvenir pack, which holds the medal, takes a closer look at the unique sound and style of each of the Paul McCartney albums featured in the main stamp set in chronological order from the self-titled McCartney in 1970 to McCartney III 50 years later in 2020 Includes the full set of eight stamps from the main set, cancelled with a handstamp used exclusively for this medal cover which features the silhouette of a piano and the location London NW8 in reference to Abbey Road Studios.
