This a is one of the great estates of this famous village. Jean-Marie Fourrier has had a huge impact on the development of the domaine since he took over from his father in the mid 1990s. Les Goulots is a cool site at the top of the village, where cool air runs down from the valley. It’s a slightly atypical Gevrey Chambertin.

Tasting Notes

Purity and clarity of style are the hallmarks here, with an essence of exuberant, but somehow also restrained fruit showing how Burgundy can be so intense but delicate. These wines are juicy and charming in youth though always ageworthy. Delicate, perfumed and intense.
