From vines situated between the Gironde River, the estate lends it’s name to it’s “beautiful pebbles” (“beaux cailloux” in French) due to their high quartz content. A blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot Noir and 3% Petit Verdot, the grapes are aged in 60% new Bordeaux Oak barrels for twelve months before developing a dense violet colour and a full-bodied palate.
