The Rioja Wine Chest Gift Set is an elegant keepsake wooden chest gift box with six premium bottles of rioja. These wines are produced by a family winery with over 125 years of winemaking traditions. Now in their 5th generation, the same consistent traditions can be expressed in the wines tasted today with modern technology providing more freshness to help improve complexity and texture through ageing. These hand selected wines are the work of award winning winemaker Rodrigo Espinosa.

Faustino Rivero Ulecia Reserva: Pairs well with lamb, beef and strong flavoured cheeses. This Rioja is a combination of Tempranillo and Garnacha grapes, with a minimum of 3 years ageing with at least 12 months in oak barrels. Aromas of black fruits are enhanced with hints of spice that are rounded with smoky and toasted undertones, with silky tannins and liquorice finish. It is best served at a cool room temperature of 16-18℃.

Faustino Rivero Ulecia Gran Reserva: Pairs well with lamb, beef and game dishes and cured cheeses. This Rioja is a combination of Tempranillo and Garnacha grapes, with a minimum of 3 years ageing with at least 30 months in oak barrels. A dark cherry red colour, with prominent aromas of candied fruits perfectly blended with roasted and spicy notes. Well-structured palate with extremely polished tannins. It is best served at a cool room temperature of 17-18℃.

Romancero Reserva: Pairs well with lamb, beef, veal and poultry. This Rioja is made from Tempranillo grapes, and is smooth and dry on the palate. Aromas of red berries with a hint of cherry and spice with a silky finish. There is a minimum of 3 years ageing with at least 12 months in oak barrels.

Romancero Gran Reserva: Pairs well with lamb, beef, veal and poultry. This Rioja is made from Tempranillo grapes, and is bold and dry on the palate. A dark cherry red colour with touches of mahogany. The elegant aromas are enhanced by beautiful soft tannins are rounded into a finish of complex dark fruit, tobacco and spice. The long and persistent fruit finish conveys a touch of elegance.

Senorio De Prayla Reserva: Pairs well with lamb, beef, veal and poultry. This Rioja is a combination of Tempranillo and Garnacha grapes, and is bold and dry on the palate. Brilliant ruby red in colour, this Rioja brings a rustic undertone. With a distinct red berry fruit forward palate, the dried fruit characteristics are enhanced with hints of over-derived spice. The finish shows a soft and persistent velvet finish.

Senorio De Prayla Gran Reserva: Pairs well with lamb, beef, veal and poultry. Garnet in colour, this Gran Reserva has spent much of its time in oak barrels to bring aromas of ripe red fruit that combine with liquorice, vanilla, and smoky hues. On the finish, the extended oak ageing allows hints of leather and tobacco to become more evident in its long lingering finish.
