Enrico Rivetto's vineyards are located near the historic castle of Serralunga d'Alba and epitomise Barolo with small plots of Nebbiolo planted in the best locations to achieve the greatest expression and purity of the Nebbiolo, Barolo's indigenous grape variety.
Enrico Rivetto is a Biodynamic producer, respecting nature and carefully cultivating his vines so as to conserve the greatest expression of the Barolo terroir. He is meticulous in his winery but with low intervention, keeping the beautiful and unique aromas and flavours of dried flowers, orange peel and red cherry fruit underpinned by silky abundant fine tannins, all wonderfully poised and in balance intact.
Barolo is Italy's leading fine wine appellation and this example is one of the finest.
Tasting Notes:
Intense and well-structured with red berries dancing together with floral and mineral notes. Fine silky tannins sing throughout and lead into a peppery finish.
Serving Suggestions:
Pairs well with rich red grilled meats and hearty tomato based pasta dishes.
Serve between 16°C – 18°C
